While they admit the
control arm problem is covered under
warranty, they didn't issue a recall even though they knew it was a problem. They have had several people have severe
accidents because of the
wheel falling off! I have only 20,000 miles on the car and the
control arm problem ruined my
tires (which cost $150 each) but they said they are only good for 20,000 miles - so I had to buy two new
tires. By purchasing two better
tires (60,000 miles
warranty at another location) it invalidates other parts of the
warranty. in other words, they always have a loophole in order to cheat the customer.

I am going through the same problem right now with my 07 civic with 21'000. I am refusing to pick up my vehicle untill the bad tires are replaced free of charge. I have caught Honda of America lying to me and I have now contacted my local attorney generals office of consumer affairs and I urge all others that are going through this to do the same
