Honda Horrible Customer Service and Slipping Quality
After 1 year my passenger visor wouldn't stay up anymore but I didn't take it in because I was busy and it was a minor annoyance. At 1 yr 9 months the battery started acting up and had to be replaced right at the 2 year mark. Honda would not replace it because my warranty was up. But they did say they would sell me one and give me a 10 year warranty on it! How about the battery you sold me with the car I said?! No 10 year warranty for that?!? Sounds like a scam to me. They also refused to replace the part for the passenger sun visor although this is obviously a defect and they had a recall for the same part on a series of civics. They wanted $77 for that part. I refused.
I contacted Honda corporate and they said they would give me the $130 I spent on the battery in "Honda bucks" but would not replace the obviously faulty passenger visor.
I said I paid cash for the battery and there is no way that a battery should last less than 2 years and I would like to get cash back.
Honda refused to refund the money for the battery I had to replace so I said I was going to report my poor experience with Honda corporate and my vehicle online.
They said they wouldn't even give me the "Honda bucks" if I didn't promise to not report the problems I had.
I refused those terms so here I am.
